AMMAN — The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has called on citizens to exercise caution and prevent their children from engaging in dangerous games that may cause severe injuries, particularly during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

In an official warning, the PSD emphasized that certain activities—specifically involving fireworks and hazardous play—can lead to severe burns, permanent vision loss, or the ignition of fires. Furthermore, these behaviors cause significant public disturbance and threaten lives and property.
The Directorate stressed the vital role of parental supervision and community awareness in curbing such behaviors. It urged parents to involve their children in age-appropriate, safe activities that foster a culture of public safety.
The PSD concluded its statement by highlighting the importance of adults serving as positive role models in adhering to safe behaviors and promoting community security.
