The Public Security Directorate has continued its awareness and preventive campaign to inspect vehicle readiness for the winter season. The campaign aims to curb traffic accidents, protect the lives of citizens and road users, and provide a safe traffic environment.

The effort—carried out by traffic departments, the Royal Department for Environmental Protection, and technical teams from the Maintenance Department—includes checking vehicle readiness and verifying their technical fitness for winter conditions and their ability to cope with unusual weather.
