According to Amro, the ministry is working to support livestock breeders throughout the Kingdom through a large-scale livestock vaccination campaign, which has already been implemented.

A campaign to wipe out foot-and-mouth disease within the next two years has also begun, said Amro.

Jordan is home to over 4.5 million head of livestock, including newborns, with more than 600,000 exported to the Gulf last year, he said.
