Minister of Justice Bassam Al-Talhouni announced that the ministry has adopted new procedures to expedite services provided to citizens in court execution departments, primarily accelerating the reimbursement of monetary amounts deposited into execution case accounts.اضافة اعلان

Al-Talhouni explained in a statement on Monday that the new measures involve the immediate reimbursement of amounts paid into execution cases upon settlement. Funds available for disbursement will be refunded as soon as they are paid into the execution cases, without requiring the judgment creditor or their legal representative to submit a refund request.

He pointed out that the undertaking submitted when registering an execution case will now serve as a standing refund request for all amounts subsequently paid into the lawsuit, thereby streamlining the collection and disbursement process. He added that to further facilitate convenience for citizens, beneficiaries will receive a text message notifying them as soon as the debtor makes a payment.

The minister detailed that the reimbursement process will be handled electronically by transferring the amount to the International Bank Account Number (IBAN) declared upon case registration through the Unified Government Electronic Payment Gateway. Monthly deductions and installments will be refunded immediately upon payment. However, for execution cases involving third-party rights, public auctions, or joint execution proceeds, refunds will be processed following a ruling by the competent execution judge.

He added that the ministry welcomes any feedback regarding non-reimbursement in the aforementioned cases within 48 hours. A dedicated email address ([email protected]) has been established to receive inquiries regarding delays in transferring paid amounts, allowing citizens to communicate directly with the ministry and resolve any emerging issues swiftly and effectively. Regarding prior financial claims, dedicated task forces have been formed to process them as quickly as possible, provided they meet the legal requirements necessary for reimbursement.
