Owais reviewed on Monday challenges facing school and university education in Jordan, as well as the impact of the pandemic on the education sector.

He pointed to the importance of vocational and technical education, saying that the ministry’s priorities are to revise curricula, infrastructure, and to ensure the equipment required for this stream of education in addition to attracting grants and long-term financing to fund vocational education.

Owais spoke as he received a delegation of the Amman group for future dialogues and was briefed on a productivity and entrepreneurship school initiative, prepared by the group as part of its interest in advancing education in Jordan.
