Ministry says it's following up after Jordanian killed in Texas

AMMAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has said it is following up on the killing of a Jordanian citizen in the US on Saturday.اضافة اعلان

The man was working at a restaurant in the US state of Texas when someone attempted to rob the establishment. Then ministry said it was in contact with the Jordanian Embassy in Washington regarding the incident.

The official spokesman for the ministry added that the embassy is in contact with the family of the deceased to transfer the body to the Kingdom as soon as possible. They are also in contact with the local authorities in Texas to follow up on the investigation, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Meanwhile, the ministry also announced that the body of the Jordanian who died in Izmir, Turkey, arrived in the Kingdom on Saturday evening.

This female citizen was exposed to a severe health condition about a week ago. She was admitted to the hospital, and her death was announced on Friday afternoon.
