The Ministry of Public Works and Housing has announced the activation of a "Medium" state of emergency and increased the readiness of its personnel and machinery, effective from Wednesday morning until Saturday morning. This move is to address the expected weather conditions, which include instability and heavy rainfall across various regions of the Kingdom.

Safety Instructions for Citizens:
Exercise Maximum Caution: Stay completely away from valleys, flood-prone areas, and low-lying regions to avoid risks from expected water formations.
Reporting Emergencies: Citizens are urged to report any incidents directly through the Ministry’s main operations room, governorate directorates, or via the official "Public Works Notifications" smartphone app for a rapid response.
Coordination and Readiness:
The Ministry confirmed high-level coordination with security agencies and relevant official institutions to ensure the continuity of services and public safety. Field teams and machinery are fully equipped, with the possibility of escalating the emergency status to "Maximum" if field evaluations by works directors deem it necessary.
The Ministry monitors the developing weather depression and prays for the safety of the nation and its citizens, wishing everyone a safe and happy Eid holiday.
