Jordan’s Minister of Interior, Mazen Al-Faraya, instructed administrative governors to release 453 administrative detainees as of Thursday.
The decision comes as part of measures aimed at enabling the released individuals to reintegrate into society, enhancing their opportunities for rehabilitation, and allowing them to resume their normal lives with their families. The Ministry stated that the detainees’ files and the nature of their cases were reviewed, and that the periods they had already spent in detention were deemed sufficient.
