The Ministry of Interior confirmed that, in continuation of its adopted approach to streamlining and simplifying procedures regarding travel and entry into the Kingdom for investors and businesspeople of all nationalities, these measures serve to benefit and support the national economy.

In light of a previous decision granting entry facilities to Syrian investors and businesspeople holding Excellence and First-Class membership cards issued by Syrian Chambers of Commerce—allowing them to enter the Kingdom without requiring prior approval to oversee their investments in both brotherly countries and to explore investment opportunities in the Kingdom:
To provide further facilities in this regard and achieve the desired objectives, it has been decided to allow family members of Syrian investors and businesspeople holding Excellence and First-Class membership cards (spouses and children under the age of eighteen) to enter the Kingdom without requiring prior approval.
