The Ministry of Interior renewed its commitment on Monday to the pledge banning celebratory gunfire, aiming to raise public awareness about its dangers ahead of the upcoming announcement of the General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) examination results.

In statements to Al-Taj News, the Ministry's official spokesperson, Dr. Abdul Kareem Abu Dalo, explained that anyone who discharges firearms will be referred to competent judicial authorities to face necessary legal action under the provisions of Firearms and Ammunition Law No. 54 of 1952, its amendments, and related legislation.
Abu Dalo added that violators will also be referred to the relevant administrative governor to implement appropriate administrative measures in full accordance with the law.
