The campaign, titled "Together for a More Beautiful Jordan," is part of ongoing nationwide efforts by the Ministry. It features volunteers from Quranic centers and aims to spread environmental awareness while enhancing social responsibility.

Commitment to Environmental Stewardship
The Ministry’s Secretary-General, Dr. Ismail Al-Khatba, emphasized the Ministry’s dedication to fulfilling the directives of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II. These directives focus on instilling a culture of preserving the environment and public facilities as a civilized behavior reflecting citizen awareness.

A Systematic Approach
Dr. Al-Khatba stated that the Ministry conducts weekly field programs aimed at entrenching public cleanliness through a religious and ethical lens. The Ministry’s strategic plan includes:

Delivering thousands of awareness-based sermons and lessons.

Launching field campaigns in partnership with relevant authorities.

Providing eco-friendly tools in mosques.

Producing educational materials to raise environmental awareness.

Campaign Impact
The campaign activities in Umm Qais included cleaning public squares and facilities, removing waste, and rehabilitating natural sites and tourist trails. These efforts aim to reduce pollution, preserve archaeological and tourist landmarks, and highlight the historical identity of the location.
