On Sunday, Minister of Health Ibrahim Al-Badour inspected the provision of healthcare services at Jameel Al-Totongi Governmental Hospital as part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of medical services for citizens and assess the hospital’s operational and medical readiness.

During the visit, Al-Badour received a detailed briefing from the hospital administration covering the level of healthcare services provided, operational needs across various departments, and key challenges faced by medical and administrative staff.
He emphasized the importance of strengthening the emergency department and ensuring a rapid and effective response to urgent cases.
The minister toured several hospital departments and met with patients and visitors, listening to their feedback regarding service quality. He stressed the importance of supporting patients throughout their treatment journey in governmental hospitals and improving the patient experience by providing comprehensive and humane care that prioritizes their needs.
Al-Badour reaffirmed that the ministry continues to implement plans to develop the infrastructure of public hospitals, supply trained personnel, and provide necessary medical equipment to achieve balanced healthcare coverage across all governorates.
He added that field visits will continue across different regions to directly observe healthcare services and gather feedback from citizens and staff, reflecting positively on the performance of healthcare facilities.
The minister highlighted that such visits represent a consistent governmental approach aimed at monitoring issues on the ground and addressing citizens’ needs directly.
