Majali: Integrity Commission Refers Cases Only to the Public Prosecutor, Not the Government

In an official statement issued on Saturday, Al-Majali stressed that the only authority to which the Commission refers its cases is the Public Prosecutor’s Office, as it is the sole body legally authorized to receive such referrals.

He further confirmed that no case files involving any ministers have been referred to the Prime Minister.

Al-Majali dismissed claims that the Commission sends its files to the government or any other entity as false and baseless, urging the public and media outlets to exercise accuracy when reporting on the Commission’s work.

He also warned that the dissemination of inaccurate information regarding the Commission’s activities could result in legal accountability.
