His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Tuesday, received Sardor Umurzakov, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Strategic Development, in the presence of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.اضافة اعلان

The visit of the Uzbek official, heading a high-level delegation to the Kingdom, comes as a follow-up to the outcomes of His Majesty’s visit to Uzbekistan last August, during which he is scheduled to meet with a number of concerned officials.

During the meeting, His Majesty praised the strong friendship ties between Jordan and Uzbekistan, stressing the importance of maintaining cooperation and capitalizing on available growth opportunities, particularly in the fields of trade, investment, health, education, tourism, and defense.

His Majesty highlighted the need to continue coordination between the two governments to build on the outcomes of his visit to Uzbekistan, which witnessed the signing of nine agreements, two cooperation protocols, and three memoranda of understanding.

The meeting, attended by His Royal Highness Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad, Chief Advisor to His Majesty for Religious and Cultural Affairs and His Majesty’s Personal Envoy, also covered key regional developments, particularly in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem.

Also present were Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, Director of His Majesty’s Office Eng. Ala’ Al-Batayinah, and the accompanying delegation of the guest.
