King: Our National Team Represented Jordan with Honor

His Majesty King Abdullah II affirmed on Sunday that the Jordan national football team, known as the “Nashama,” has laid the foundation for future successes.

In a post on X, His Majesty said: “Our national team’s Nashama, you represented Jordan with honor and laid the foundation for future successes that we look forward to.”

He added: “The nation awaits your return and takes pride in you, for you hold a special place in the hearts of all Jordanians.”

Speaking about the Jordanian fans, whom His Majesty described as loyal, he said: “You reflected the finest image of our homeland, embodying genuine belonging and patriotism. Jordan is stronger through its unity, more beautiful because of its people, and greater through the love that brings its sons and daughters together.”
