AMMAN - Thousands of Jordanians took to the streets of the capital and a number governorates, on Friday, in protest against Israeli actions in Al Aqsa Mosque/Al Haram Al Sharif compound, according to Jordan News Agency, Petra.
They called for halting the violation of the sanctity of Al Aqsa Mosque, calling on the international community to take a firm stance to protect the holy sites in Jerusalem and the innocent and defenseless Palestinians.
The protesters praised His Majesty King Abdullah II, the custodian of the Islamic and Christian holy sites, role in facing any attempts to impose spatial and temporal division of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Haram al-Sharif.
