According to a hospital statement released on Tuesday, the reception of the children came as part of the "Jordanian Medical Corridor" initiative, through which the Kingdom continues to render assistance to the people of Gaza. Yesterday, Monday, the Jordanian Armed Forces - The Arab Army evacuated the 30th batch of sick children from the Gaza Strip, which included 50 children and 78 companions, who were distributed across Jordanian hospitals to pursue treatment.

The Director General of the hospital, Dr. Nader Al-Bsool, stated that this step reflects Jordan's keenness, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, to extend medical and humanitarian support to Palestinian brothers and sisters. He noted that the hospital has mobilized all its medical facilities and specialized staff to provide the highest standards of healthcare for the incoming children from Gaza.

Al-Bsool pointed out that since August of last year, the hospital has received 59 children from the Strip suffering from complex heart, blood, and liver diseases. A number of them have successfully completed their treatment phases and returned to the Gaza Strip, while others continue to receive medical care and health follow-ups inside the hospital. He emphasized the hospital's ongoing commitment to fulfilling its medical and humanitarian duty, contributing to enhancing recovery prospects and completing treatment for children arriving from the Strip.
