Jordan Customs Foils the Entry of Sorcery-Related Items Through Postal Parcels and Destroys Them in Accordance with Regulations

The media spokesperson for the Jordan Customs Department announced that customs personnel working at the E-Commerce Customs Center had successfully seized and destroyed a large number of sorcery-related items that arrived through various postal parcels during the past six months.اضافة اعلان

He added that these confiscated items are often hidden inside parcels containing clothing, children’s toys, or accessories, where they are concealed using deceptive methods within the shipments.

He explained that customs officers become suspicious of certain parcels based on specific indicators, prompting them to subject those shipments to thorough inspections, which resulted in the discovery of these materials inside several suspicious parcels.

He further stated that the seized items were officially confiscated and held, and a specialized committee was formed to destroy them in accordance with approved procedures, after consulting the opinion of the General Iftaa Department.



Jordan Customs urges citizens and service recipients to comply with the applicable laws and regulations and to refrain from requesting or importing any materials that violate the law or social norms, emphasizing its continued efforts to strengthen monitoring of postal parcels as part of its mission to protect society and preserve public safety and security.
