Jordan has condemned the attacks carried out by the Houthi militia targeting Abha International Airport and King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia, which resulted in deaths and injuries among residents of Moroccan, Algerian and Sudanese nationalities.
Jordan described the attacks as a blatant violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, a threat to its security and stability, and a flagrant breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.
Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ambassador Fouad Al-Majali, reaffirmed Jordan’s condemnation of the attacks targeting civilian and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia.
He stressed Jordan’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures the kingdom takes to protect its security, stability, national assets, citizens and residents.
Al-Majali also expressed Jordan’s sincere condolences to the governments, peoples and families of the victims, and wished those injured a speedy recovery.
