Jordan Condemns Attack on UAE Consulate General in Iraqi Kurdistan

Jordan on Tuesday condemned in the strongest terms the targeting of the Consulate General of the sisterly United Arab Emirates in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates emphasized the necessity of respecting international law, the 1949 Geneva Conventions, and the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, which guarantee the protection of diplomatic mission premises and their personnel.

The Ministry further reaffirmed Jordan’s absolute solidarity and support for the sisterly United Arab Emirates.
