House of Representatives Holds Its First Oversight Session of the Second Ordinary Term Today
The House of Representatives will hold today, Monday, its first oversight session of the second ordinary term of the 20th Parliament, chaired by Speaker Mazen Al-Qadi, to discuss the government’s responses to 16 parliamentary questions across various files and issues.اضافة اعلان

The session will include discussion of the response by the Minister of Digital Economy, Sami Samirat, to a question submitted by MP Suleiman Al-Zabin, as well as the response by the Minister of Transport to questions from MPs Zuheir Al-Khashman and Tariq Bani Hani. It will also review the response by the Minister of Local Administration, Walid Al-Masri, to questions from MPs Khader Bani Khaled, Mohammad Salameh Al-Ghuwairi, Samer Al-Azaideh, and Mousa Al-Wahsh, in addition to the response by the Minister of Agriculture to a question from MP Jamil Al-Dahisat.

The session is also expected to discuss the response of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities to a question from MP Yousef Al-Rawadieh, as well as the response of the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Azmi Mohafazah, to questions from MPs Suleiman Al-Kharabsheh and Raed Rabaa. The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, will respond to questions posed by MP Mohammad Bani Melhem and MP Rania Abu Roman.

In addition, the session will review the response of the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Maher Abu Al-Samn, to a question submitted by MP Ismail Al-Mashaqbeh, the response of the Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Yaarub Al-Qudah, to a question from MP Ibrahim Al-Tarawneh, and the response of the Minister of Investment to a question from MP Raed Al-Qatamin.

Parliamentary Committees

Following the session, the Financial Committee will continue discussing the draft General Budget Law for the fiscal year 2026 with the Ministry of Digital Economy and its affiliated departments, the National Cybersecurity Center, and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and its departments.

Meanwhile, the Legal Committee will discuss the amended draft of the Sharia Execution Law for 2025, and the Youth, Sports, and Culture Committee will meet a group of political science students from Yarmouk University.
