QS is a British company specializing in the analysis of higher education institutions around the world.

The meeting discussed international classification standards, and Sarayrah said the agency is constantly in contact with international accreditation, quality, and classification institutions.

He added that the QS classification is a catalyst for Jordanian universities towards competitiveness and globalization, and that participating in this classification requires more work and clear visions to achieve a high level of quality.

This contributes to improving higher education outcomes in Jordanian universities, and determining its position relative similar universities based on selected international standards.

For his part, Ashwin stressed the importance of international classifications for the benefit of higher education institutions, preparing their outputs, evaluating their programs and activities and the quality of their outputs in accordance with the best internationally known standards.

The two sides agreed to boost means of cooperation to develop a roadmap to improve the performance of higher education institutions in line with their vision of achieving excellence and competing regionally or globally.
