The agency confirmed that it will continue monitoring and taking action against the online circulation and sale of medicines as part of its regulatory role in ensuring medication safety and protecting public health.
It explained that selling or promoting medicines through applications, social media platforms, and digital marketplaces violates existing legislation, which restricts the dispensing of medicines to licensed pharmacies under the supervision of a qualified pharmacist.
The agency added that it will continue tracking such violations and taking the necessary legal measures, while urging the public to verify information before sharing it and stressing the importance of cooperation in reporting any unlawful practices.
