The External Patrols Department announced that all external roads across the Kingdom remain open as of this morning, despite the rainy weather affecting most regions to varying degrees.

The department explained that areas under the northern jurisdiction are experiencing heavy rainfall on the Amman–Irbid road near the Seil Jerash station. Intermittent rainfall has also been reported on the Mafraq–Zarqa road near the Sahel Al-Dabba station and on the Husha road, while cloudy conditions prevail in the remaining areas without notable incidents.
In the central region, the department noted that all roads are experiencing rainfall.
As for the southern jurisdiction, rainfall has been reported on the Desert Highway in the Qatraneh, Hasa, and Dabbat Hannot areas, as well as on Wadi Araba Road, Al-Batoun Road near the Jafr and Touba stations, in addition to the Oneiza and Al-Shidiya stations.
The department also pointed to varying fog formation at times in the Ras Al-Naqab area, where horizontal visibility may drop to around 100 meters during certain periods, stressing that visibility is currently clear.
The External Patrols Department urged drivers to exercise caution while driving and to follow traffic instructions to ensure public safety. (Petra)
