Amman — The Ministry of Education has circulated the official school hours to all directorates, which will be implemented starting from the beginning of the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.

In a press statement on Sunday, the ministry indicated that the working hours for education directorates will be from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
In single-shift schools, the first class will begin at 9:00 a.m., with each class lasting 40 minutes and a 10-minute break. The 5-minute break between lessons will be canceled. The sixth class will end at 1:10 p.m., the seventh class at 1:50 p.m., and the eighth class will be canceled.
For double-shift schools, morning sessions will start at 9:00 a.m. and afternoon sessions at 12:50 p.m. Each class will last 35 minutes, with a 10-minute break and cancellation of the 5-minute break between lessons. The sixth class in the afternoon shift will conclude at 4:30 p.m.
