Eastern Military Zone Thwarts Two Attempts to Smuggle Narcotics via Balloons

The Eastern Military Zone, on Tuesday, thwarted two attempts to smuggle a large quantity of narcotic substances within its area of responsibility. The illicit materials were carried by electronically guided balloons.اضافة اعلان

The smuggling attempts were detected by Border Guard units, which engaged and downed the balloons and their cargo inside Jordanian territory. This operation was conducted in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department. The seized items have been referred to the competent authorities for the necessary legal action.
