Eastern Military Zone Thwarts Smuggling Attempt of Narcotics via Balloons

Amman — The Eastern Military Zone successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle a quantity of narcotics early Thursday morning. The illicit materials were being transported using electronically guided balloons across the border.اضافة اعلان

The Border Guard units detected the balloons and took immediate action, bringing them and their cargo down within Jordanian territory. The operation was carried out in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department (AND). The seized items have been referred to the competent authorities for necessary legal action.
