Eastern Military Zone Thwarts Drug Smuggling Attempt via Balloons

The Eastern Military Zone thwarted a major attempt to smuggle a large quantity of narcotics at dawn on Saturday. The drugs were being transported via electronically guided balloons across the border.اضافة اعلان

Border Guard units, through continuous surveillance, were able to detect and intercept the balloons, successfully bringing down their cargo inside Jordanian territory.

The operation was conducted in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department (AND). The seized materials have been referred to the competent authorities for the necessary legal action.
