EMRC urges companies in energy sector to raise readiness

AMMAN— The Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC) called on all companies working at the energy sector to raise its preparedness due to the unstable weather conditions that will affect the Kingdom tonight, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

Chairman of the EMRC Hussein Labboun, in a statement on Friday, said that the commission has declared a state of emergency due to the weather conditions.

The move came, Labboun said, to enable EMRC and Jordan's generation and distribution companies to ensure sustainability of the electric grid and prepare to address any emergency glitches.
