The full text of the Crown Prince’s post reads:

“Yes, we did not win points, but through the noble spirit of Al-Nashama, we earned the world's respect. We saw our traditional Jordanian shemagh draped over the shoulders of friends, competitors, security personnel, and event organizers alike. We saw major international news agencies praising the character and sportsmanship of Al-Nashama and their remarkable presence. We saw global television networks celebrating the outstanding support of Jordanian fans. We witnessed the social bonds among members of the Jordanian diaspora at their finest, proudly embracing and showcasing their Jordanian identity. We saw supporters and admirers of Jordan from all corners of the world.

We lost nothing; instead, we gained 11 role models for 12 million Jordanians. This is how dedication is given for our homeland. This is how we unite under one flag. Nations are built through unity, cohesion, ambition, hard work, and sacrifice.

And I say it with pride: We are Jordan, the land of Al-Nashama. Be proud of yourselves, Jordanians. You are capable of reaching world-class levels in every field, and there are many examples that prove it.

This may be our first appearance at the World Cup, but it will not be the last. The ambition of Jordanians is truly exceptional.”
