During the session chaired by Chief Justice Judge Mohammed Al-Muhadine, the court's decision stated that the challenged Article 48/2, alleged to be unconstitutional for violating Article 6/1 of the Constitution concerning the equality of Jordanians before the law, does not contravene this constitutional provision, Al-Ghad reported.

The decision further explained that under Article 48/2 of Law No. 11 of 1972 and its amendments, the legislator entrusted the Lawyers Syndicate Council to adjudicate in every dispute regarding the legality of retirement and its consequences. It emphasized that regulating this matter was not intended to deprive the right to litigation or infringe upon it, but rather to strengthen the judicial aspect without diminishing it.
