Army Thwarts Attempted Drug Smuggling via Drone

Southern Military Region, Jordan – The Southern Military Region thwarted on Tuesday an attempt to smuggle drugs using a drone along its western front, within its area of responsibility. The rules of engagement were applied after the drone was detected by border guard forces, and it was shot down within Jordanian territory. The seized materials have been handed over to the relevant authorities.
