Al-Anasweh stated that EFS will commence waste collection and transportation services in the Shafa Badran area, while City Blue will begin providing services in the Al-Yarmouk area starting today. He added that expanding the operational scope of these companies is part of a phased program aimed at boosting the efficiency of sanitation services, improving response times, and applying international best practices in waste management to elevate the quality of services provided to citizens.
He further emphasized that the handover took place after completing all technical phases on the ground, in close coordination with the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) and the service-executing companies. This ensures adherence to quality standards and the achievement of high operational efficiency, positively impacting cleanliness levels across various districts of the capital.
It is worth noting that Amman Vision for Processing and Recycling had previously initiated its operations in Al-Abdali, Badr Nazzal, Zahran, Tariq, Abu Nseir, Al-Jubaiha, and Al-Madina, in addition to the newly added areas of Shafa Badran and Al-Yarmouk. The company continues to broaden its service network to reach all districts in Amman and strengthen the city's overall cleanliness and sustainability framework, following a gradual expansion plan set to cover the entire capital by the end of this year.
