According to a press release from GAM's media center, the Mayor of Amman, Yousef Al-Shawarbeh, sponsored the opening ceremony. The event was attended by several GAM committee members, City Manager Nabil Al-Jariri, deputy city managers, and relevant executive directors.

The festival's opening day featured a national, cultural, and family-oriented theme. The evening began with musical performances by the Jordanian Armed Forces Band, followed by an artistic performance titled "The Pulse of Amman" by artist Macadi Nahhas on the main stage. The opening piece featured musicians from the National National Music Conservatory, the Tariq Al-Jundi Academy, and the University of Jordan Choir, directed by Gandhi Saber.

The activities included national and traditional musical segments by the Ramtha Youth Society for Culture and Arts, alongside performances by artists Ahmad Al-Daraiseh and Saad Abu Tayeh, which received enthusiastic engagement from the audience.

The children's stage featured the play "Faris on Summer Vacation" and a cinema screening, alongside dedicated children's activities such as face painting and balloon twisting. Prizes and gifts were also distributed across various art platforms and gaming stations. Additionally, the festival included a market area dedicated to showcasing traditional crafts, heritage products, and popular local food.

The free festival, which runs until July 17, aims to stimulate tourism, create an attractive destination in Amman, and provide a family-friendly atmosphere for citizens and visitors to Jordan. It also seeks to promote civic values through positive and educational messages embedded in dramatic performances for both adults and children.

GAM has provided free parking for attendees behind the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, along with free shuttle buses to transport visitors to the event location inside Al-Hussein Parks.
