Sixteen people were killed and 28 others injured when a passenger bus overturned Wednesday morning on the Dahab–Nuweiba road in Egypt’s South Sinai Governorate.

According to sources, the bus was carrying 43 passengers, including 22 Jordanians. Ten Jordanians were killed in the accident, while 12 others sustained moderate to serious injuries.
Egyptian authorities received a report of the bus overturning on the Dahab–Nuweiba road, prompting security forces, accompanied by ambulances, to immediately head to the scene.
