Cairo Amman Bank and Princess Sumaya University for Technology Renew Agreement to Transform University ID into a Smart Card
Cairo Amman Bank has renewed its collaboration agreement with Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) to continue transforming the university’s student ID into a multifunctional smart card.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Kamal Al-Bakri, CEO of Cairo Amman Bank, and Prof. Dr. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, President of PSUT, in the presence of senior officials from both institutions.

The smart card serves as an official identification card for PSUT students and provides access to a wide range of advanced financial and electronic services, including cash withdrawals, point-of-sale payments, and online purchases. It can also be used as an access card to university facilities and for tuition payments. Additionally, cardholders can enjoy exclusive discounts and special offers through an extensive network of partner merchants.

Dr. Kamal Al-Bakri, CEO of Cairo Amman Bank, commended PSUT students for their outstanding academic performance and praised the university’s distinguished local and international reputation. He emphasized that this partnership reflects the Bank’s ongoing commitment to delivering innovative banking solutions that simplify students’ lives and keep pace with technological advancement.

Prof. Dr. Abu Elhaija noted that this collaboration positively supports the university’s efforts to enhance the quality of services provided to students, faculty, and administrative staff. It also aligns with PSUT’s vision — inspired by the directives of Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chair of the University’s Board of Trustees — to strengthen cooperation with community institutions and exchange expertise in ways that benefit both sides.

The multifunctional smart university card marks an important step toward empowering students with modern, secure banking services that enrich their university experience and enhance their financial technology skills.
