The immunization drive was organized in coordination with the Jordan Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Health and the National Center for Security and Crises Management. The team is expected to receive their second shot in June.

The Jordan Basketball Federation (JBF) held a meeting to oversee arrangements regarding Jordan’s upcoming role as host of Group E and Group F qualification matches for the 2021 Asia Cup finals in Indonesia.

The meeting was held at the federation’s headquarters in the attendance of representatives from the Public Security Department, Crisis Cell, Greater Amman Municipality and the Civil Defense Department.

JBF representatives gave a detailed rundown of the approach to hosting the Asian qualifiers, clarification on the role of each entity and the coordination of logistical matters, such as hospitality and accommodation.

The JBF assured that all participating country federations have been contacted to make sure that all players have provided their passports for visa and travel purposes. So far, the federation has received the identification of the Syrian, Iranian and Qatari delegations, in addition to those of the Asian federation.

Jordan is set to host the last window of the Asian qualifiers between June 12 and June 14 at the Prince Hamzah Hall, where the Kingdom has been scheduled to face Palestine twice and play a third game with Kazakhstan.
