National team advances to basketball skills challenge finals

AMMAN — The national junior team for those under 15 years of age has qualified for the eighth round of the basketball Skills Challenge World Cup, achieving three victories in group seven.اضافة اعلان

The national team defeated Puerto Rico (125-127), Guinea (128-143), and Andorra (128-142) to take the lead in group seven with 6 points, followed by Puerto Rico with 5 points, Guinea with 4 points, and Andorra with 3 points.

The national team will play the Republic of El Salvador in the round of sixteen on Thursday.

Mohamad Hamdan leads the national junior team, which includes players: Zaid Fanous, Mohamed Hamdan, Lotfi Khader, Omar Salman, Michel Nafaa, Ahmed Adelat, Rawhi Kilani, and Basil Khawaldeh.

The competition is based on the individual skills of the players and not entire teams.
