Jordan’s national basketball team will begin preparations today, Tuesday, for the fifth window of the Asian qualifiers for the 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup, which will be held in Qatar.

The preparation programme includes a training camp in Amman, during which the team will play two friendly matches against Lebanon on November 19 and 21. The matches aim to improve the players’ technical and physical readiness ahead of the official competition.
The national team is scheduled to travel to Malaysia to face New Zealand and Australia on November 27 and 29, respectively, as it seeks to continue its qualifying campaign and strengthen its chances of reaching the finals.
