The draw for the 13th West Asian Football Federation U-17 Championship was held today, Wednesday. The tournament, hosted by the Jordan Football Association, will run from the 26th of this month through the 5th of next month in the city of Aqaba.

The draw placed Jordan's U-17 national team in Group B alongside the UAE and Oman, while Group A includes Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine.
Under the tournament's format, the teams have been split into two groups, with the first round played in a single round-robin stage, and the top two teams from each group advancing to the semifinals.
It's worth noting that the draw for the 2027 AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers placed Jordan's U-17 national team in Group D alongside Iran, Laos, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
Laos will host the group stage matches for Jordan's U-17 team, held in a centralized format from the 8th to the 20th of next month.
Through training camps and friendly matches for the U-17 national team, the Jordan Football Association is looking to achieve the highest levels of preparation and support as the team moves forward toward its upcoming commitments.
