Trabzonspor, who finished third in the standings last season, remain stuck on 4 points after suffering their first loss of the season, dropping to 11th place. Newly promoted Amed Sportif, meanwhile, moved up to 6 points in 5th place.
The match started perfectly for the visitors, as Mohamed Salah opened the scoring in the 11th minute. Following a long pass from Albania's Ernest Muçi, Salah broke from midfield and drove into the box before calmly placing the ball into the net with his left foot.
The hosts equalized in the fifth minute of first-half stoppage time through Nigeria's Yira Sor, who followed up on a penalty kick taken by Senegal's Mbaye Diagne that had been saved by Cameroonian goalkeeper André Onana.
Nigerian substitute Gift Emmanuel Orjinta snatched the winning goal for Amed Sportif in the 90th minute, tapping in a cross from substitute Muhammed Yeşil from close range to secure a valuable three points for his team.
