French club Paris Saint-Germain announced on Saturday the signing of Belgian forward Mika Godts from Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam on a contract running through 2031.

The Parisian club expressed delight on its official website regarding the Belgian forward's arrival, noting that he will wear the number 22 jersey.
Born on June 7, 2005, in Leuven, Belgium, Godts began his footballing journey at Anderlecht's youth academy before moving to Genk in 2020. He quickly emerged as one of the brightest rising talents in Belgian football, particularly through his performances in the UEFA Youth League.
In January 2023, Godts transferred to Ajax Amsterdam to continue his development, featuring for Jong Ajax where he scored nine goals and provided four assists in 25 appearances over a season and a half.
His performances earned him a gradual promotion to Ajax's first team, making his Eredivisie debut against Fortuna Sittard on April 9, 2023, at the age of 17.
Godts now continues his career in France following his transfer to Paris Saint-Germain on a long-term contract extending until 2031.
