The Saudi Football Federation's General Assembly approved on Sunday the victory of Badr Al-Ruzaiza's list for the presidency of the federation's board for the upcoming term.اضافة اعلان

The election was decided by acclamation, with no vote required, after it was confirmed that the sole nominated list met all the electoral conditions and regulations.

Badr Al-Ruzaiza will take over as chairman of the board within the list, while Luai Mash'abi will serve as vice-chairman. The list also included seven names for board membership: Lamia bin Bahian, Fahad Al-Mansour, Salman Al-Sudairi, Thamer Al-Saadoun, Omar Al-Jarisi, Nicolas Coward, and Gerard Rudy.

The election committee for the sixth term of the Saudi Football Federation's board had revealed the final list of candidates for the positions of president, vice-president, and board membership last Wednesday, following the completion of the appeals and grievances process and the expiration of the deadline for candidate withdrawals.

The approval of the final list came in line with the timeline previously announced for the electoral process on July 16, before the elections were ultimately decided in favor of the sole list by acclamation, without the need for a vote.

With this, Badr Al-Ruzaiza begins his new four-year term as president of the Saudi Football Federation, succeeding Yasser Al-Misehal.
