Nahuel Molina, defender for Spain’s Atlético Madrid, has moved closer to joining Italy’s AS Roma during the current summer transfer window.
Spanish newspaper Marca reported that Molina was spotted at Atlético Madrid’s training center on Monday before traveling to Rome to finalize all details concerning his move to the Italian capital club.

Molina received approval from Atlético Madrid to travel to Rome to put the finishing touches on his departure.
After making 181 appearances under Diego Simeone at Atlético Madrid, the Argentine international is set to return to Serie A, four years after joining the Spanish side from Udinese.
Molina’s departure—alongside the potential transfer of his teammate Ruggeri to England's Aston Villa—will allow Atlético Madrid to focus on their next moves in the summer transfer window.
Molina is expected to sign a four-year contract with Roma, earning a salary higher than his current earnings with Atlético Madrid.
