Amman — Al-Faisaly star Ahmad Al-Arsan continues to establish himself as the team’s most influential player since the start of the current season, delivering impressive performances and eye-catching statistics. He has once again demonstrated his technical quality and central role in the “Blue” lineup, despite the club’s recruitment of a host of prominent players to strengthen the squad and compete strongly for various titles.

Al-Arsan’s influence extends beyond scoring and assisting goals. His performances in important matches and ability to make the difference at decisive moments have made him one of the key assets relied upon by the coaching staff and Al-Faisaly fans this season.
His current form is no coincidence. Al-Arsan was also among Al-Faisaly’s standout players last season, finishing the Jordanian Professional League as its top scorer with 15 goals.
Last season, he was one of the team’s main attacking threats, combining his scoring ability with chance creation and the ability to drive the attacking system forward. His presence played an important role in the team’s performances and results, while his statistics reflected his individual ability and capacity to make an impact in different matches.
The extent of his influence was highlighted last season when he missed two matches due to injury, during which Al-Faisaly failed to win. Although match results depend on many factors, the coincidence of his absence with the team’s failure to secure victories brought renewed attention to his role and the difficulty of replacing the attacking solutions and direct influence he brings to the game.
Observers considered Al-Arsan one of the leading players capable of carrying the team and helping it overcome difficulties last season, particularly as few other players consistently delivered a similar contribution. He has played nine matches for Al-Faisaly this season, starting eight and appearing as a substitute against Al-Ramtha in one. During those appearances, he has scored nine goals and provided three assists, bringing his total direct goal contributions to 12.
These numbers carry additional significance given the range of competitions in which Al-Faisaly is participating and the team’s need for players capable of making a difference under different circumstances.
Al-Arsan also played a prominent role in Al-Faisaly’s Jordanian Super Cup triumph, making his mark at crucial stages of the competition. He scored twice against Al-Wehdat in the semi-final before continuing his influential form in the final against Al-Hussein, where he scored the opening goal for his team.
His impact has not been limited to domestic competitions. He also impressed in the AFC Champions League Two, making a strong start to Al-Faisaly’s continental campaign against Qatar’s Al-Rayyan. He provided two assists and scored a superb goal in the match.
The goal against the Qatari side was more than another addition to his scoring tally. It received widespread praise and was voted the best goal of the round by fans through the Asian Football Confederation’s website, further underscoring the player’s technical quality.
