Al-Faisaly Football Club player Ahmad Al-Arsan received the award for player of the second round of the 2026-2027 Pro League season, following a poll in which fans and a select group of local coaches took part.

Al-Arsan stood out in the second round, having scored what has so far been the most beautiful goal of the Pro League, through a rocket shot from long range that found the back of Doqara's net, scoring his team's second goal in the match that ended 2-0, before leaving the pitch in the 76th minute.
Al-Arsan received 3% of the votes among those who voted on "Facebook," making him the third-highest vote getter after Al-Salt's Saleh Freij and Al-Jazeera's Rashid Shawahneh, though the round's star is chosen through a combination of fan voting and voting by a number of national coaches.
Five local coaches unanimously chose Al-Arsan as the best player of the second round: Osama Qasem, Islam Jalal, Mohammad Al-Ababneh, Mahmoud Shalabiya, and Mohammad Al-Maharmeh, giving Al-Arsan the award following this combination of fan and expert voting.
At the end of each round, Al Ghad selects an ideal 11-player lineup, with voting opening the day after the round concludes and running for 24 hours. Alongside Al-Arsan, the lineup included: Malek Shalabiya, Suhaib Al-Qadi, Al-Mahdi Issa, Saul Castro, Mohammad Haddad, Saleh Freij, Rashid Shawahneh, Majdi Attar, Alfousseini Jassama, and Suleiman Babayondi.
Al-Arsan, 30, is one of Al-Faisaly's most prominent players, having been last season's Pro League top scorer, alongside leading his team to win the Super Cup title at the start of this season, scoring 3 of the 4 goals the team registered in the competition.
Throughout his career, Al-Arsan has played for a number of domestic clubs, including Al-Sarhan, Manshiyat Bani Hassan, and Shabab Al-Aqaba, and had a single professional stint abroad with Kuwait's Kazma club, as well as representing the national team over several previous periods, playing 44 matches with the "Nashama," 20 as a starter and 24 as a substitute, though he was notably absent from the squad during the World Cup competitions.
Through its weekly selection of the best player, Al Ghad seeks to showcase the Pro League in a distinguished light both domestically and internationally, alongside motivating players to give their best in competing for individual awards, given the absence of such awards from the Football Association.
