Trucking fees rise due to fuel price hikes

AMMAN — President of the Syndicate of owners of Clearance and Cargo Transport Companies, Dhaifallah Abu Aqoula, called for supporting the trucking sector, the primary tool for transporting goods, according to Jo24.اضافة اعلان

Abu Aqoula said that the rise in fuel prices results in an increase in transportation costs. He explained that freight charges increased by at least JD100 following the latest fuel price hike, and that more increases are likely to follow if fuel prices are raised again.

He Jordan’s land transport fleet is made of 20,000 trucks.
