According to the CNBC network, the pan-European Stoxx 600 index dropped by approximately 0.44% to settle at 625.39 points.

Similarly, France's CAC 40 fell by 0.23% to close at 8,188.87 points, while Germany's DAX shed 0.30%, finishing at 25,102.61 points.

The UK's FTSE 100 also registered a decline, dropping 0.75% to close at 10,425.96 points.
