The Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply has increased the sale price of barley this month by JD 5 per ton for all livestock farmers of cattle, poultry, camels, and horses, as well as for companies importing live livestock, compared to the last July price. The new price is JD 245 per ton, including sales tax.

The price of subsidized barley for sheep farmers remains unchanged at JD 175 per ton, according to records from the Ministry of Agriculture.
Ministerial Decision No. 98 of 2025 also maintained the price of subsidized bran for sheep farmers at JD 77 per ton. For other livestock farmers (cattle, poultry, camels, horses, etc.), the price of bran is set at JD 157 per ton, including sales tax.
Additionally, according to Decision No. 72 of 2025, the ministry collects a fixed fee of JD 1,450 for each vehicle exporting live local sheep, in accordance with paragraph (b) of Article 6 of the Import and Export Law No. 21 of 2001.
