According to the survey, 70% of Jordanians now express trust in the government, a substantial increase from previous assessments.
The fact that the Cabinet is capable of shouldering its responsibilities has climbed to 61%, up from 54% at its inception and 51% following its initial hundred days in office.
Moreover, the Prime Minister's leadership has secured considerable endorsement, with 67% of respondents convinced that he is adept at navigating the current complex landscape, a significant rise from the 57% recorded at the outset and comparable to 55% in the 100-day survey.
These figures underscore a shift in expectations and a renewed faith in the government's efficacy.
A majority of 57% of Jordanians now believe that the country is moving in the right direction, compared to a year ago when 55% held this view after the formation of the government and 47% in the 100-day survey.
So, what explains this surge in confidence? In my estimation, it is the government's effective handling of a tumultuous regional environment, coupled with a resolute tone and credible actions struck by the ministerial team.
The Hassan government assumed office amidst the Israeli war on Gaza, a period of unprecedented regional turbulence, and yet managed to maintain a steady hand, conveying a sense of purpose and direction.
The Prime Minister's field visits, widely covered in local media, have helped bridge the gap between Amman and the governorates, with 65% of Jordanians and 64% of opinion leaders expressing satisfaction with these visits.
As the government seeks to build on this momentum, it is imperative that it remain focused on delivering tangible results. With expectations running high, the government must continue to demonstrate its ability to translate its vision into reality. As the truism goes, when they succeed, we all succeed. Our collective future is in their capable hands, and we wish them the very best of luck, as long as they continue the good work they are doing.
